Hi, I’m Erik Sekol, and today I want to talk about dinosaurs.
I’ve loved dinosaurs since I was a kid, and I read every book I could find. I learned the hard names first, like Pachycephalosaurus, and I could say it before breakfast without blinking.
That love never really faded. I still watch dino shows late at night, and I still argue that raptors were smarter than most people think. I might actually be right about that.
I also have a theory. Stegosaurus had the best design of them all, with back plates that were pure style. Dinosaurs were the original rock stars of planet Earth, and nobody can convince me otherwise.
Once, at a museum, I stood in front of a huge bone display for twenty straight minutes. I was not bored. I was in awe, and I took photos from every single angle. My friends finally had to drag me off to lunch.
I still have one big dream. I want to visit a real dig site someday and hold a fossil that nobody has touched in millions of years. That would make my whole year.
If dinosaurs ever came back, I would be first in line, not to run away but to say hello. I would probably even bring snacks for a friendly Triceratops.
So that’s me: a grown adult who still gets excited about dinosaurs. This is the first post on this site, and it felt right to start here. Expect more of this kind of thing.
